Official visit of Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain to the Kingdom of Jordan, accompanied by Minister Albares

Their Majesties King Felipe and Queen Letizia, alongside the Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, are due to travel to Amman on 5 October, at the invitation of His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan.

During this official visit, in addition to holding a meeting with a representation of Spaniards in the country, they will be officially received by Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan at the Al Husseiniya Palace, where an official welcoming ceremony will be held.

Several cultural activities and a business meeting will also take place during this official trip, the first one made by Their Majesties the King and Queen to Jordan, framed within the good relations that both countries maintain, and which shall provide a favourable opportunity to express the​ desire to continue strengthening the deep historical, political, cultural, and human ties that exist between Jordan and Spain.
