Spanish Government condemns recent decision to expand settlements and seize land in the West Bank

Spain calls on the Government of Israel to reverse these decisions, which aggravate the difficult security situation in the region. 

Settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories are contrary to International Law, hinder the implementation of the two-State solution and are an obstacle to peace.
