The Government of Spain expresses its firm condemnation of the execution yesterday in Iran of Alireza Akbari, and it has decided to summon the Iranian Ambassador to convey its rejection of this execution.
Once again, Spain calls on the Iranian authorities to put an end to all executions and death sentences, while reiterating its position against the death penalty in all countries and under any circumstances.
