Starting July 15th 2024, it will be necessary to have an appointment to be assisted at the consular section of this Embassy.
To get an appointment, please write an email to the
emb.tokio.sc@maec.es mailbox with the following information:
- Name and surname
- Passport number (or DNI in the case of Spaniards)
- Service required:
- Schengen visa
- national visa
- Spanish nationality application
- others (please specify)
- Preferred day(s) of the week
Please note that you will need to request an appointment for each service requested. For example, if you want to apply for both a visa and a NIE number, you will need two appointments.
Likewise, if you need a service for multiple people, you will need an appointment for each of them. For example, to apply for a visa for a couple and a child, you will need three appointments.
National visas (not Schengen visas) will need to be picked up on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday, from 9h00 to 9h30.
