The Ambassador, José Pascual Marco, acknowledged the work of the military who defend our values and principles. The Ambassador mentioned the 3,000 or more soldiers and civil guards deployed in sixteen missions across four continents. In addition, the Spanish representative reviewed the main international challenges, highlighting the loyalty of our country to its allies and the importance of the Spanish defence industry.
The Defence Attaché, for his part, mentioned the pride in the work of the Spanish military services, as well as the permanent memory and gratitude to those who died in the line of duty.
The event was attended by Rear Admiral Joaquín Ruiz Escagedo, in command of the NATO Maritime Division 1 on call in London.
