Aspects that have made Hispanic culture a universal phenomenon will be studied under the guidance of Dr. Emma Luisa Cahill Marrón.
From the Renaissance to the present day, Hispanic culture has played a key role in the spiritual and artistic shaping of the world. The course will address some of the topics that have shaped Hispanic culture through the arts, music or philosophy.
The course will also touch the most common myths and historical misrepresentations. Hence, the role of women in art, expressions of homosexuality in literature or current trends in music will be researched.
