At the University of Saint Andrews, one of the most prestigious in the United Kingdom and the oldest one in Scotland, the Ambassador was received by its Director and Vice-Chancellor, Sally Mapstone, along with Hispanic Professors. Subsequently, he gave a lecture to students and researchers in which he spoke about the political situation in Spain, the Spanish Presidency of the European Union, and bilateral relations with the United Kingdom.
The Ambassador also participated in a panel discussion at the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of Saint Andrews, organized by the R&A Trust Company, on tourism and golf. He highlighted the benefits of Spain as a golf tourist destination, emphasizing our commitment to sustainable tourism.
