End of covid-19 entry restrictions to Spain

Since 16th December 2022 there are no covid-19 entry restrictions to Spain. All travelers, regardless of their nationality and covid-19 vaccination status are allowed to enter Spain.

VISAS: Visas are still necessary for the required categories and nationalities of travelers.


• Thailand:  To apply for Schengen visa get an appointment at BLS Bangkok. For other visas get appointment directly at the Embassy.


• Cambodia: The Embassy of France in Phnom Penh issues Schengen visas (not long-term vis​​as) on behalf of Spain. An appointment is required to apply for a visa. You can also apply in Bangkok through BLS Bangkok.


• Laos: The Embassy of Germany in Vientiane issues Schengen visas (not long-term visas) on behalf of Spain. An appointment  is required to apply for a visa. You can also apply in Bangkok through BLS Bangkok.


​• Myanmar: The Embassy of France in Yangon issues Schengen visas (not long-term visas) on behalf of Spain. An appointment is required to apply for a visa. You can get it by sending an e-mail to admin-etrangers.rangoun-amba@diplomatie.gouv.fr You can also apply in Bangkok through BLS Bangkok.​
