Foreign Nationals traveling to Spain with the purpose of participating in hunting expeditions should apply for a permit at this Consulate General of Spain and present the following documents at least one month before departure:
- Valid passport: original + 1 copy* (applications by mail: Notary certification that is a true full copy of the original).
- Driver´s license: original + 1 copy* (applications by mail: Notary certification that is a true full copy of the original).
- Non-US Citizens: US Resident Card or US Visa original + 1 copy* (applications by mail: Notary certification that is a true full copy of the original).
- Valid hunting license: original + 1 copy* (applications by mail: Notary certification that is a true full copy of the original).
- TRANSLATION FORM FOR HUNTING LICENSE.pdfof hunting license. All fields must be completed (typed or on capital letters) and signed.
- APPLICATION FOR HUNTING PERMIT.pdf. All fields must be completed (typed or on capital letters) and signed.
- Complete airline itinerary. Traveler’s name and last name, flightdates, airline, flight number, route and airports.
- Letter of invitation from Spain with dates, places, provincias and Autonomous Comunity where the activity will take place and informing if the hunter will use a gun provided by the outfitter in Spain or he/she will be bringing his/her own.

US Citizens EEUU: Reciprocity fee $50 USD.
10. Applications sumitted via postal mail: include a prepaid US Postal Service EXPRESS MAIL o PRIORITY MAIL FLAT RATE ENVELOPE with completed mailing label.
Upon arrival, you must present the certificate issued by this Consulate, together with the rest of the relevant documents.
