The government welcomes the excellent development of our bilateral relations over the last 30 years, during which time sound political relations have been forged and economic and tourist exchanges have increased, as could be clearly seen at the fruitful political consultations held on 11 March between the State Secretary for Foreign and Global Affairs, Ángeles Moreno Bau, and her counterpart, the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Gayrat Fazilov. All this progress has resulted in greater knowledge and proximity between our two peoples.
On this important occasion for our bilateral relations, the Government of Spain expresses its wishes for peace, well-being and prosperity for the friendly nation of Uzbekistan.
