The Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, will travel to Andorra next Monday, 14 September. Spain enjoys excellent bilateral relations with Andorra, which has played an active role in the preparatory work for the Ibero-American Summit in Madrid. The Minister will meet with his Andorran counterpart, Imma Tor Faus, with whom he will sign several bilateral agreements. Minister Albares will also meet with the Head of Government of the Principality, Xavier Espot Zamora. The visit comes at a time when Andorra is drawing closer to the European Union, a process that has Spain's firm support.
The Minister will also travel to La Seu d'Urgell to meet with the Episcopal Co-Prince, the Bishop of Urgell, H.E. Mons. Josep-Lluís Serrano Pentinat.
The visit will also include a meeting with authorities and prominent figures from civil society, as well as representatives of the business community, at the historic Radio Andorra building.
