Albares welcomes Cuban counterpart to Madrid

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, welcomed his Cuban counterpart, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, to Madrid today at the latter's request. Rodríguez Parrilla is currently on a tour of several European countries.

The meeting addressed the current situation in the country and the humanitarian aid that Spain can provide through the AECID in the form of food and essential health products. The situation of Spanish companies in Cuba was also discussed.

In addition, the main objectives set by the Pro Tempore Secretariat for the Ibero-American Summit, which will take place on 4 and 5 November in Madrid, were also addressed.
