Albares discusses excellent bilateral relations with Algerian counterpart

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the President of the Government’s visit, during which they discussed the main issues affecting bilateral relations

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, held a meeting on Monday 20 July with his Algerian counterpart, Ahmed Attaf, during which they discussed the excellent relations between the two countries.

The meeting follows Minister Albares’s visit to Algiers last March, where he met with President Tebboune, as well as his counterpart, Ahmed Attaf, and the Minister for Hydrocarbons, and during which they discussed strengthening the Strategic Partnership and the continued validity of the Treaty of Friendship, Good Neighbourliness and Cooperation.
