Spanish Government condemns bombing of Holy Family church in Gaza

The Government of Spain condemns the bombing of the Holy Family church in Gaza, which also served as a shelter for hundreds of Palestinians, and which has caused the death of at least three people and several wounded.

We demand respect for places specially protected by international humanitarian law, and urge the immediate cessation of hostilities and indiscriminate attacks on the civilian population. 

The Government of Spain reiterates the urgency of reaching a cease-fire that will allow the release of hostages and the entry of humanitarian aid.​
