Spanish Government condemns electronic device attacks in Lebanon

The Spanish Government condemns the attacks by means of electronic devices that took place in Lebanon on 17 and 18 September, which have caused dozens of deaths and thousands of wounded, with numerous victims among the civilian population.  

The indiscriminate attacks are contrary to international humanitarian law and threaten the security and stability of Lebanon, Israel and the entire region. 

We call for restraint on the part of all actors. A further escalation of violence and the risk of open war with unpredictable consequences must be avoided.
