Spain welcomes Edmundo González

Edmundo González has taken off from Caracas en route to Spain in a Spanish Air Force plane. The Spanish Government has provided the necessary diplomatic and material resources for his transfer, carried out at his request.

The Spanish Government reiterates its commitment to the political rights and physical integrity of all Venezuelans, especially political leaders.
