Following yesterday's presidential elections, which saw the Argentinians vote democratically, Spain shall continue to promote relations with Argentina in favour of the well-being and prosperity of our peoples, both from a bilateral point of view as well as in the Ibero-American and multilateral spheres. The interests that both countries share and the intense historical relationship between the two societies should be the basis of the agenda between the two Governments on which Spain intends to pursue its work.
For all these reasons, we wish Argentina success in this new chapter.
