Flooding in South Africa

The flooding that has ravaged parts of KwaZulu-Natal province and very seriously affected the city of Durban has now left more than 250 people dead and caused significant material damage.

Spanish residents of the region have been contacted and there have been no deaths or serious injuries to regret.

The Government of Spain wishes to convey its condolences to the Government of South Africa and to the families of the deceased and wish those injured a speedy recovery.​
