Spain chairs the 43rd Session of the OECD Network of Senior Officials from Centres of Government

This Network serves as a high-level forum for sharing best practices and coordinating responses to major global challenges. Its mission is to reinforce governance and the effectiveness of public administration from the center of government, fostering cooperation through mutual learning.

In an increasingly complex information environment, trust in institutions largely depends on governments’ ability to communicate the impact of their actions. The meeting fostered a broad discussion on new approaches to public communication, not only as a means to inform citizens but also as a key tool for promoting the design of people-centered policies.

In the exercise of its presidency, Spain shared a statement​ reflecting its firm commitment to multilateralism and its determination to strengthen this community throughout the year. In doing so, Spain reaffirms its commitment to multilateral cooperation, reinforcing dialogue and shared knowledge to address global challenges with stronger and more effective governance.
