During her speech, Robles expressed Spain's satisfaction with the results of the Group's work to unite and coordinate the efforts of a large part of the international community in support of Ukraine.
The minister underlined Spain's unwavering commitment to Ukraine, and expressed her gratitude for the recent allied support in the transport of large-caliber field artillery ammunition donated by the Ministry of Defense. She also highlighted the provision of training modules to instruct the Ukrainian military in the use of the anti-aircraft battery that has been offered to Ukrainian forces.
She also reported the transfer of 20 M-113 armored transports in good condition. Finally, she outlined the shipment, currently underway, of various medical supplies and more than 100,000 uniforms and cold weather equipment urgently requested by the Ukrainian government.
She also highlighted the offer of a cyber defense operations center to Ukraine along with the initial training necessary for its use and remote assistance once deployed.
At the same time, the Chief of Defense Staff (JEMAD), Admiral General López Calderon, who travelled to Ramstein at the invitation of his counterpart, the Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, took part in a subsequent training session. In it, he gave additional information on the various possibilities for organizing and offering specialized training and education modules to the Ukrainian military.
