Cycling Tour in Oman
Between February 10 and 16, 2022, the eleventh edition of the Cycling Tour was held in Oman.
The two Spanish teams have been the Euskaltel Euskadi and the Burgos BH team.
Other teams have also participated, such as the UAE TeamEmirates (United Arab Emirates), Team Novo Nordisk (USA), Cofidis (France), Quick Step-Alpha Vinyl (Belgium), TeamBike Exchange-Jayco (Australia), among others.
The route consisted of the following stages: Al Rustaq Fort-Muscat (138km), Naseem Park-Suhar Corniche (165.7km), Sultan Qabos University-Qurayyat (180km), Al Sifah-Muscat (119.5km), Samail- Jabal Al Akhdar (150.5 km), Al Mouj Muscat Matrah Corniche (135.5 km).
HE. Sayyid Kamil Fahd Al Said handed over the gold jersey of the Tour Oman Combativeness General Classification to the Spanish rider PeioGoikoetxea (Euskaltel-Euskadi).
