The Ambassador reaffirmed Spain's commitment to international law and a negotiated solution based on the coexistence of two states living in peace and security. The Spanish and Palestinian heads of mission also discussed relations between Spain and Palestine, and the role of the European Union and the United Kingdom in stabilizing the region.
Spain remains firmly committed to international law and the two-state solution as the only viable path to a fair and lasting peace in the Middle East.
