Minister Cuerpo met in London with his counterparts, Rachel Reeves, and the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, Peter Kyle, at a particularly positive time for bilateral relations. As part of the Spain-United Kingdom Business Meeting, the Minister participated in a panel with Peter Kyle to address the opportunities and challenges facing the two countries in the new context of global trade.
Minister Cuerpo also spoke at an event with the Chancellor of the Exchequer at the London School of Economics, the university where they both studied, to discuss policies aimed at balanced growth.
The Minister met with Spanish companies operating in the United Kingdom to learn about their interests and projects, and with British investors and analysts to share the positive outlook for the Spanish economy.
Finally, Minister Cuerpo led a delegation of Spanish business leaders in an entrepreneurship roadshow, organized by ICEX, aimed at expanding the entry of innovative Spanish companies into the British ecosystem and facilitating their financing.
