Ambassador Aparici highlighted the generous work of Sylvia Ordás, who has spent many years helping Europeans, mostly Spaniards. For her part, Sylvia thanked the Head of Mission for her remarks and expressed her joy at having helped so many people.
A panel discussion followed, featuring Jaime de Villota (Head of the Citizen, Social, Justice and Home Affairs at the EU Delegation in the UK) alongside Katie Smart (CEO of Settled) and Daniela Vicini (EU Settlement Scheme Immigration Advisor at Settled).
To conclude, a statement of appreciation for Sylvia Ordás was read, and a donation to Settled from the Coalition of Spaniards in the UK was formally presented.
