The ship, a unique replica of a Spanish galleon that made transoceanic voyages between the 16th and 18th centuries, linking Andalusia with America and Asia, arrived in the British capital as part of a tour of the most important ports in Europe. The opening ceremony was attended by the Embassy's Cultural Counsellor, Mr. José María Robles Fraga.
The Galleon Andalucía, built in 2010 by the Nao Victoria Foundation, will remain anchored during its stay in London in St. Katharine Docks and can be visited between September 24th and October 6th.
