The Ambassador, José Pascual Marco, highlighted that Spain and the United Kingdom are amongst the countries with the greatest gender diversity in business management, although he warned that progress must continue. “The Board of Directors must be a reflection of society,” insisted the Head of the Spanish representation.
Club President, Sandra Martín Morán, emphasized the relationship between gender diversity and profitability, based on studies such as those carried out by McKinsey & Company or the Peterson Institute for International Economics.
The event closed with a panel in which British and Spanish women reflected on the role of women in business and the imminent challenges to achieve effective equality.
The Club of Spanish Executives, founded in Paris in 2020 and recently established in London, has more than one hundred members in Europe, Asia and North America.
