The Ambassador, José Pascual Marco, reviewed the recipient´s career, highlighting the London museum's close ties with Spain, which have expanded since Mr. Hunt took the reins at the V&A. For example, this year, a new branch of the Museum will be inaugurated in East London, which will feature, amongst its most notable pieces, one of the four Mudéjar ceilings from the Torrijos Palace from the late 15th century.
