The King travelled to London accompanied by the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and Digital Structures, Ms. María González Veracruz. His Majesty King Felipe was greeted at the airport by the Ambassador of Spain in London, HE José Pascual Marco, and the representative of the British Crown, Viscount Younger of Leckie.
His Majesty King Felipe held a private meeting with His Majesty King Charles III at his residence in Clarence House. His Majesty King Felipe VI expressed his wish for King Charles to visit Spain soon, given the deep ties between the two countries and both Royal Families.
Subsequently, the Spanish Monarch attended the dinner on the occasion of the 135th Anniversary of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in the United Kingdom. His Majesty was received by the President of the Chamber, Mr Eduardo Barrachina, the CEO of ICEX Spain Export and Investment, Ms María Peña, and the President of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Mr José Luis Bonet.
His Majesty King Felipe congratulated the Chamber of Commerce for its work during these last 135 years, highlighting the excellent economic relations between Spain and the United Kingdom, which have made our country one of the main investors and commercial partners of the United Kingdom.
