At the meeting, the President of Imperial College, Mr. Hugh Brady, described the current situation and the main challenges of the centre. He also mentioned the possibilities of a collaboration between the British institution and Spanish universities and scientists.
The Ambassador and the Cultural Attaché also met some of the Spaniards who work at Imperial College, and who direct some of the most innovative projects. Professors Mauricio Barahona, Guillermo Rein and Rafael Palacios, presented their studies in artificial intelligence, aeronautics, firefighting technologies or new materials to replace plastics. These works aim to achieve a fairer, more sustainable and resilient world.
