The Spanish Ambassador and Lord Pickles shared their concerns about the increase in hate crimes since 7th October and, in particular, anti-Semitism. The Spanish representative expressed Spain's firm commitment to the fight against anti-Semitism.
The Ambassador also conveyed Spain's support for the work of the commission investigating what happened during the II World War in the Nazi concentration camps of the Channel Islands, where thousands of prisoners of war, including Spanish republicans, were enslaved.
Lord Pickles chairs this commission, whose objective is to shed light on these events and advance restorative justice for victims.
