Ambassador Aparici welcomed the launch of "a truly unique platform for Spanish cinema in the UK capital"—noting that the Embassy has supported the event since its inauguration.
Festival director Joana Granero reviewed the event's history and outlined the films and activities scheduled for this XXII anniversary.
This year, the festival will explore the links between Spanish cinema and gastronomy. To illustrate this connection, the video 'Carácter'—directed by filmmaker Jaime Dezcallar and starring flamenco dancer María Pagés—was screened.
