Ambassador Aparici highlighted the Embassy's commitment to culture, emphasizing the collaboration with the Royal Ballet & Opera and Lisette Oropesa's career. Subsequently, the organization's CEO, Sir Alex Beard, spoke about the soprano's work, describing her as one of the most acclaimed operatic sopranos on the current scene.

Lisette Oropesa and the Director of the Royal Opera, Oliver Mears, engaged in a conversation discussing about the operatic world. Subsequently, British mezzo-soprano Angela Simkin and Polish pianist Marta Misztal—members of the Royal Opera House's Young Artists Programme—performed several pieces, including "Mi lusinga il dolce affetto" from Handel's opera 'Alcina'.

The Royal Ballet and Opera (formerly the Royal Opera House) is the largest performing arts organization in the United Kingdom.

Lisette Oropesa is a Cuban-American soprano who also holds Spanish citizenship; she made her debut at the age of 22 and has established herself as one of the world's finest opera singers.
