The Ambassador, José Pascual Marco, started the event by praising Spanish wine as an essential part of the culture and economy of our country.
Miguel Torres, owner of Bodegas Torres, spoke about the work of his company to successfully overcome the challenges of climate change.
A round table was then held with the presence of, among others, Torres himself and the British wine journalist, Jancis Robinson, in which they addressed the challenges and strategies of the wine sector to offer sustainable wines with the usual quality.
Finally, Jancis Robinson received an award from Miguel Torres, for her work in favour of sustainability and the promotion of Spanish wine in the United Kingdom.
