Leaders from Spanish and British business and society met at the embassy to highlight the excellence of the Spanish industry and craftsmanship thanks to the quality of its products, services, and production management.
The Ambassador, Pascual Marco, highlighted the importance of these types of initiatives and congratulated Círculo Fortuny for its work. A roundtable discussion was held to discuss the strategies and value of Spanish and British brands, and their role in building the country's brand. Participants included Walpole, a British organization similar to Círculo Fortuny, and ECCIA, a European cultural and creative industry alliance that brings together organizations from Spain, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and Portugal.
Círculo Fortuny brings together Spanish companies from sectors such as gastronomy, design, fashion, tourism, cosmetics, jewellery, landscaping and architecture, as well as institutions such as the Teatro Real and the National Library. Its objective is to promote and enhance the image of Spanish products, highlighting their excellence.
