Around 40 international relations students of various nationalities toured our historic embassy, which was the first permanent mission to the Court of Saint James. They visited the renowned Spanish drawing room and appreciated the tapestries, the bargueños and the works of Ramón Bayeu.
Subsequently, the students had an animated chat with the Ambassador and other diplomats about Spanish foreign policy, EU-United Kingdom relations and world challenges.
The visit was part of the programme of meetings of the diplomatic society of King's College with embassies accredited in London, to learn about diplomatic work.
