The conference revolved around relations between Spain and the United Kingdom, the consequences of Brexit, and the economic, political and social challenges that our countries face.
At the end of the talk, the Ambassador and the students exchanged opinions and points of view on the international situation, the upcoming Spanish Presidency of the EU, and the relations between the United Kingdom and the EU in the post-Brexit stage.
Likewise, the Ambassador met with the Dean and Vice Dean, who explained the history of Exeter and its University, where there are currently 30.000 students, including some 350 Spaniards. In addition, the collaboration programmes between Exeter and Spanish universities were reviewed.
