The Spanish Ambassador hosted a working dinner attended by the MED7 Ambassadors (France, Italy, Portugal and Cyprus), and a representation of security and defense leaders from the British Parliament: Tobias Ellwood, president of the Defense Commission; Alicia Kearns, President of the Foreign Affairs Commission; Harriette Baldwin, Chairman of the Finance Commission; Chris Bryant, Chairman of the Standards Commission; and George Freeman MP, Secretary of State for Science, Research and Innovation.
They exchanged points of view on Ukraine and NATO, with special focus on the southern flank, migratory pressure, North Africa and the Mediterranean, the deterioration of security in the Sahel, or Latin America.
