The Spanish-British Foundation organises a writing competition annually with Spanish and British last year students at school. The jury is made up of members of the Foundation, as well as the directors of the British Council in Madrid and the Cervantes Institute in London.
This year the essay was about the influence of social media. The winner of the English essay was Kirill Kolotiy, and the finalists were Anna Reglar and Mila Pascolini, who wrote their essays in Spanish.
The Ambassador presented them with the award, encouraging them to continue developing their abilities and their command of the Spanish language.
