Judges and magistrates from various Provincial Courts, Criminal Courts and Investigative Courts from all over Spain, have visited for a week Westminster Magistrates and Croydon Crown Courts in order to study the criminal system of the United Kingdom. These visits are part of the legal English courses organised by the Judicial School of the General Council of the Judiciary.
The Spanish judges and magistrates were received by the Ambassador and the Spanish Liaison Magistrate to the United Kingdom, with whom they exchanged views on the judicial systems of Spain and the United Kingdom, in particular on criminal jurisdiction.
