The Association of Spanish Scientist in the Netherlands (CENL), in collaboration with the Embassy of Spain in The Hague, presents "Women do science too", about the past, present and future of women scientists and researchers. This event will include a presentation concerning María Andrea Casamayor de la Coma from Zaragoza.
She was the first Spanish woman to publish a scientific text in 1738: Tyrocinio Arithmetico, an educational work aiming to teach mathematics to unschooled people. Afterwards, some of CENL’s members will present their research and trajectory.
