THE GAMBIA
After the presidential elections held on the 1st of December 2016 and taking into account the uncertainty on the evolution of the security situation on the ground, Spain warns against travel to the Gambia, except in cases of extreme emergency. It is also recommended to keep informed and to follow closely the latest developments in the country.
Considering the instable political situation in the Gambia, we recommend to leave the country as soon as possible using commercial transportation available.
