  • Documentation pick-up WITHOUT APPOINTMENT: From Monday to Friday from 1.00 PM to 2.30 PM. During this time you can pick up your passport, family book, visa or any other documents you have previously applied for without needing to book an appointment. ​​

All foreign public documents must be translated and legalized, except in the case in which said document has been apostilled by the competent Authority of the issuing country according to the Hague Convention of October 5, 1961 and unless said document is exempt from legalization in under International Convention. Documents issued by the Government of Canada, such as the RCMP Criminal Record Certificate, must be apostilled by Global Affairs Canada exclusively, not by provincial authorities.

As of January 11, 2024, competent authorities in some provinces will be responsible for issuing an apostille and Global Affairs Canada will be responsible for issuing apostilles for documents issued by the Government of Canada and for documents issued or notarized in specific provinces and territories. On the link below, you will find full details of the changes. RCPM Criminal Record Certificate must be also translte into Spanish language before to submit your visa application.
