Mercedes Ruiz and Santiago Lara are prominent artists in the current flamenco scene. Holders of the most important awards including Critics and Audience Award of the Jerez Festival. The Jerez flamenco couple have created 10 shows over 20 years of experience, which has led them to visit the most important theatres in the world: International House of Music (Moscow), Sanders Well (London), etc.
Mercedes has choreographed for the National Ballet of Spain and is in demand as a teacher around the world. Japan, Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, USA, Italy, France, etc. She is well known for her elegant and beautiful body movement.
